Terms of Service

Welcome to Sweeps, a service of Tabor Labs, LLC. By using Sweeps you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sweeps, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Sweeps is a web app for golf Leagues. Commissioners schedule Games and Series, players record Rounds, and Sweeps computes scores, handicaps (SweepsIndex), standings, and payout amounts live. Features include Sweeps Game entries, Skins and other side games, Series standings, and clubhouse TV leaderboards.

3. Money, Payments & Gambling

Sweeps computes and records amounts. It never holds, transfers, collects, or processes money.

• Sweeps is not a payment service, escrow agent, or gambling or sweepstakes operator, and is not a party to any wager, pool, or prize arrangement your League runs.
• All settlement happens outside the app, directly between League members. Venmo usernames shown in Sweeps are a display convenience only.
• Entry into a Sweeps Game is a per-Game opt-in recorded by your League; end-of-Series payouts are computed when your commissioner closes the Series.
• Amounts displayed anywhere in the service — including on a League's public TV leaderboard — are computed by Sweeps from the fees and payout structure your League's admins configured, and are not offers, obligations, or balances held by Tabor Labs, LLC.
• Your League and its commissioner are solely responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to your group's entry fees, prize pools, and games of skill or chance in your jurisdiction.

4. User Accounts

To use Sweeps, you must:

• Provide a valid phone number for authentication
• Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account secure

5. League Administration

Commissioners control their League's membership, Game and Series setup, and money records. The accuracy of scores, fees, and payout records entered by a League's admins is the League's responsibility.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated means to access the service without permission

7. Content

You retain ownership of content you create (League names, logos, and similar). By posting content, you grant Tabor Labs, LLC a license to use and display it within the service, including on your League's public leaderboard pages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Sweeps for violations of these terms or at our discretion. You may request account deletion at any time — see Delete Your Data.

9. Disclaimers

Sweeps is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The accuracy of scores, handicaps, standings, or payout calculations, which reflect data entered by your League's admins
• The conduct of other users

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tabor Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Sweeps after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
