Add Sweeps to your home screen so it opens like a normal app.
Tap the Share button
It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up. You'll find it at the bottom of Safari.
Tap “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down in the menu that appears. The option has a small plus-square icon next to it.
Tap Add
A box appears with the Sweeps icon. Tap the blue Add button in the top-right corner.
On iPhone, only Safari can install apps. If you opened this from Instagram, Gmail, Facebook, or another app, copy the link and paste it into Safari first.
Why install the app?
Installing puts Sweeps on your home screen with its own icon. It opens faster, fills the whole screen with no browser bars, and works the same as a normal app.
I'm reading this in Instagram, Gmail, or Facebook. What do I do?
Those apps have their own built-in browser, but Apple only lets Safari install apps on iPhone. Tap the “Copy link” button on the previous screen, then open Safari, paste the link in the address bar, and follow the steps below.
Will it use a lot of storage?
No. A few megabytes at most. It loads from the web and caches what you've already seen.
How do I uninstall?
Press and hold the Sweeps icon on your home screen, then tap Remove App (iPhone) or Uninstall (Android). It comes off like any other app.
